Great clippers! August 29, 2010 Zup Clippers do a really great job! Heavy duty design makes for long lasting durability. I would recommend to anyone upgrading or in need of new clippers.
Andis Improved Master Professional Clipper August 9, 2010 John This is a great product: solid, well-made, and works just fine. A highly-recommended clipper. Get the comb set for clipping various lengths. The small tube of clipper oil that is supplied in-the-box with the clipper lasts a long time, so there is no need to purchase a 4 ounce bottle of clipper oil until later.

Less than a week after I bought this "wonderful" clipper, it already stopped working. Pathetic. But if you like shiny things that look nice but don't work, go right on the hell and buy this piece of junk. Built Ford soft. smh.

This contraption is heavy, unwieldy and fragile.
I bought it 6-9 months ago. I used it maybe once every couple of months. Fast forward to present and it now sits in a pile of trash somewhere. It rusted several months into using it. It started making an infernal sound about the same time. The blades stopped responding to adjustment.
I had originally bought it intending to give myself buzz cuts and thus save on haircuts. In retrospect I should have bought something a lot cheaper, and made of plastic.
Stay away!

I had an older Andis hair clipper that mysteriously went m.i.a. I'm not familiar with other hair clipper brands but familiar with the Andis reputation. These new clippers are very similar in design to my previous pair, but newer, quieter and a lot sharper. I have no real complaints about the Andis brand.
